Hotel Vega, located by the town of Ponte Valleceppi, is surrounded by the beautiful Umbrian countryside, just 8km from Perugia and 15km from Assisi. The hotel has been owned and run by the Lasignora family since 1984. With its central location, Hotel Vega is ideal for both leisure and business travellers. All major tourist attractions of great historic and cultural value (such as Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio and Todi) are close by.  There are many other attractions too, making Umbria one of the most beautiful regions on the Italian peninsula.

In the vicinity of the hotel there are facilities for tennis, horse riding or cycling, all of which are surrounded by the sunflower or tobacco fields that are typical of this area.


The Vega Hotel is easily accessible coming from both the north or the south of Italy. Because it is situated in the vicinity of the ‘E45’ motorway that goes from Cesena to Rome, it is well connected to the most important motorways in the country.

Directions by car

If you are coming from Florence, leave the ‘Autostrada A1’ at exit ‘Valdichiana’ and follow the signs for the ‘Perugia-Bettolle (SS 75bis)’ motorway, heading for Perugia. Go past the exit for Perugia and head towards Cesena. Leave the ‘E45’ at the exit ‘Ponte Valleceppi’ and turn right. You will see the Vega Hotel in front of you.


If you are coming from Cesena, follow the ‘E45’ heading for Rome-Perugia and exit at ‘Bosco’. Continue for around 3 km along the regional road heading for Gualdo Tadino without turning. You will find our hotel alongside the road on your left.


If you are coming from Rome, leave the motorway ‘A1’ at Orte and continue on the ‘Superstrada E45’ heading for Cesena. After having passed Perugia, turn right at the E45 exit for ‘Ponte Valleceppi’.

Directions if you are travelling by plane or train

Three flights a day arrive at Perugia’s Internationa Airport “Sant Egidio” from Milan Malpensa, as well as three flights weekly from London and Barcelona. Once arrived at the airport, a shuttle bus service from the company “ACAP SULGA” will bring you to our hotel. Upon reservation, the shuttle bus is also available to bring you to the airport from the hotel. The train station Ponte San Giovanni is located only 5 km from Vega Hotel.
